Senior Account Executive


Our client, a leading software provider for the Food and Beverage Industry and F&B manufacturers, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive the expansion of their B&B ERP business unit. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact at a growing company targeting a large market with limited competition. The Senior Account Executive will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and the VP of Sales for their conventional Process Manufacturing ERP solution. The company aims to achieve substantial growth in this direction over the next three years and plans to hire several additional Account Executives.

- Company: Our client is a prominent software provider specializing in process manufacturing and chemical distribution industries.

- Customer Size: From individual consultants to large organizations, including process designers, equipment manufacturers, and production facilities in various sectors like oil & gas, food & beverage, pharma, and specialty chemicals.

- Tech: The company offers ERP solutions tailored for the Food and Beverage Market.

- Leadership: This newly founded division is gaining momentum, and the Senior Account Executive will play a crucial role in navigating the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.

- Employee Tenure: The team consists of approximately 200 highly dedicated and tenured employees, with many possessing backgrounds in process manufacturing.

Role Specifics:

- Role: We are seeking the first new sales team member for this division, presenting a tremendous opportunity to shape and participate in an entirely new sales process. The successful candidate will join a stable and established company with a market-tested product and a history of success.

- Location: Remote position.

- Travel: While frequent communication through Zoom is expected, the Senior Account Executive will be required to travel a few days per month for onsite customer demos.

- Ideal Person: The role involves full-cycle sales responsibilities, including lead generation, qualification, outbound calls, pipeline management, and closing deals. We are looking for an "all-around sales athlete" who is driven, curious, humble, and works efficiently.

- Team: Collaboration is crucial in the sales process. The Senior Account Executive will work closely with managers for demos and leverage the expertise of dedicated Presales individuals for technical support in deals.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Innate Hunger and Self-Motivation: The ideal candidate is eager to learn and motivated to excel.

- Experience: Demonstrated success in closing deals within a full sales cycle, preferably with experience in selling ERP software in process manufacturing and the food and beverage industry.

- Entrepreneurial Attitude: The candidate should be able to function independently with minimal oversight or training.

- Strong Communication: Comfortable with regular lead touchpoints, including phone calls, voicemails, emails, video calls, etc., and proficient in building and managing a pipeline of prospects.

- Strategic Thinking: The Senior Account Executive will be part of a collaborative team that devises new sales processes and strategies as needed.


- Experience in Greenfield Environments: Experience in prospecting at multiple levels within an organization, from user-level to C-level.

- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the process manufacturing and Food and Beverage Industry and relevant industry terminology.

- Experience with Enterprise Software Sales: Prior experience in closing deals for enterprise software products and the ability to excel even when the product is not the most well-known in the industry.
