Director of Sales / Direct and Agency (Data Solutions)

 

 

Our client is next-generation data for advertising company. As the government cracks down on data use this companies’ platform gives consumers ownership of their data and allows the consumers to share their data with marketers of their choice. In turn, the consumer is compensated for the use of their data. The platform is GDPR compliant and has brands and agencies lining up to get on board. They are the world’s largest direct-to-consumer data creation platform. Consumers provide informed opted-in data in exchange for rewards such as cash and gift cards, while advertisers get access to first-party, verified data for audience insights and media activation.

 

Qualifications:

·       Experience with techniques including effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.

·       Experience with managing a sales portfolio in business development, client relationship and servicing, and solution-based selling.

·       Ability to lead and manage multiple projects (deals) with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously.

·       Ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans.

·       Ability to influence executive stakeholders through thought leadership.

·       Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

·       Experience in selling technology into the agency world.

·       Ability to travel whenever you need to in order to get the deal done!

 

Responsibilities

·       Let’s not hid this one! Hit your numbers!

·       It’s a managed service or programmatic sales so get in with the correct departments and you will close business.

·       Sell the story! Collaborate and consult with major agencies with the goal of extending relationships, increasing the client and agency base and optimizing their advertising.

·       Own and strengthen primary agency relationships from executive level down to specific account teams including Media Planners and Buyers.

·       Analyze data trends and client performance. Develop solid strategic plans and prepare and conduct strategic presentations.
